Here are the easy steps on how you can add a contact on the phone.

  4. Type in the name of the contact and save. 

Yes, you can. Using your old phone, save all the information on your memory card. As you use that same memory card on your new phone, you will have all the information on it accessible. 

To transfer your contacts, make sure to save or import them from your old phone to your sim card. Once you insert your sim card to your new phone, it will have your contact information readily available for you.

When charging, the indicator  on the dock will get red. When  fully charged, It will turn green.  if the phone is not placed  properly with the dock, the  indicator will display green,  please reposition the phone until it is well placed.

Yes, you can charge the device via the cord charger directly through the charging port on the left hand side. 

Yes, predictive text is automatically enabled. To turn off the predictive text function when typing a message, press the # button and select Abc.

This phone uses an old texting technique. To do that, press Menu > Message > Write Message.

For example, to get the letter "C", press the button "2" thrice. It has predictive text that you can turn off by pressing the # button and selecting "Abc" format instead. 

Simply open the flip to answer the call and close the flip to end the call. 

To call when the number is unsaved in contacts, simply dial out the numbers then press the green call button. 

To call when the number is saved in contacts, press contacts, select or search for the name/number you wish to call then press the green call button. 

Yes, it does. During a call, there's an option to go hands-free.  

From the home screen, press the green call button then it will show the missed calls, dialed numbers, received calls, rejected calls and all call logs.   

You can assign a contact number to a number from 2-9. Next time you call, you can long press that number where the contact is saved and it will dial out that contact.  

You just long press the number you used to save the contact info and it will dial out that number. 

 

Please follow the below steps to set-up the speed dial feature:

1.Press Menu then select Speed Dial then press ok. 

2.Select number you wish to save contact to, then press options. 

3. Press Edit then add the phone number then press ok to save. 

Yes, you can personalize it by going to SOS Settings, select SOS Message then press select. Modify the message and press ok to save.

Yes, you can turn it off by going to SOS Settings, select SOS Turn On/Off and then press ok from the keypad to remove the check on it. Removing the check means turning it off. 

The SOS feature lets you add a total of 5 emergency contact numbers on it. Upon pressing the SOS button, it will auto call the number saved until someone picks up. It will also send them a text message. 

No, it doesn't. The phone has no GPS tracking feature on it. 

Yes, it does have a 0.3MP rear camera. 

Absolutely! You can send and receive photos via MMS/text or bluetooth. It has a single 0.3MP back camera.  It can take pictures and videos too.

You can add up to 32 alarms from the 40 different pre-set reminders. Follow these steps to setup an alarm:

1. Select Alarm:

Press MENU > Press arrow down to navigate to Alarms then press OK > If this is your first alarm, press OK to select Alarm 1. If this is not your first alarm, use the arrow down button to navigate to the next alarm e.g. Alarm 2 > Press OK

2. Set Time:

Press OK on Set Time to edit > The hour of the day will be underlined > Use up and down buttons to change the hour of the day > Use the left and right to move to the minutes > Use up and down buttons to change the minutes > Press OK

3. Set Date:

Press arrow down button to navigate to Set Date > Press OK > The day will be underlined > Use up and down buttons to change the day > Use the left and right buttons to move to the month > Use up and down buttons to change the month > Use the left and right buttons to move to the year > Use up and down buttons to change the year > Press OK

4. Set Repeat:

Press arrow down button to navigate to Set Repeat > Use the left and right to move to the days of the week you want the alarm to repeat on > Press OK and the day will be highlighted red to indicate it will repeat on that day > Repeat for additional days of the week

5. Set Alarm Message

Press arrow down button to navigate to Alarm Message > Use the arrow up and down to select what the alarm message is > Press OK 

6. Set Alarm Duration: 

Press arrow down button to move to Alarm Duration > Press left  or right button to select the duration you desire: 10 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute, 2 minutes or 5 minutes

7. Enable Alarm: 

Press arrow down button to move to Enable Alarm > Press OK to toggle between On and Off

8. Delete Alarm:

Press arrow down  button to move to Delete > Press OK

9. Exit:

Once completed press MENU to return to all alarms > Press MENU again to return to all settings > Press MENU again to return to clock

Press MENU > Select Volume > Press arrow left or right to select your desired volume (10 being the highest setting and 1 being the lowest setting).  

By default, the alarm will make a sound for 1 minute, press the OK or MENU buttons to turn it off. Alternatively, you can set it to your desired duration during setting up an alarm. Just follow the below steps: 

Press the arrow down button to move to Alarm Duration > Press left  or right button to select the duration you desire: 10 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute, 2 minutes or 5 minutes. 

Yes, the clock can be set to either 12 hours format showing AM or PM or 24 hours showing military time. To do this, plese follow below steps:

Using the button at the back of the clock: Press MENU > Select Time Mode > press the left or right arrow to switch to 12 Hour or 24 Hour > Press MENU to exit.  

Using the remote: Press EXIT/SETUP > Select Time Mode > press the left or right arrow to switch to 12 Hour or 24 Hour >  Press EXIT/SETUP.

Please press the arrow left/right button in the remote control to change between the different clock displays. You have three options like in the picture: digital in colour, digital in black and white and analog in black and white. View the different displays

The clock automatically dim it's brightness during night time. To set that up, press MENU > Select Automatic brightness > press OK to switch to AUTO > Press MENU to exit. 

Normal brightness starts from 7:00am to 6:59pm, screen dimmed to low brightness from 7:00pm to 6:59am. 

Press MENU > Select Screen Brightness > press OK to switch to one of the six modes (auto, level1 being the lowest setting level2, level3, level4, level5 being the highest setting) you prefer > Press MENU to exit. 

We have developed an extra low brightness level designed for the bedroom and also has automatic night time dimming.

It has around 11 caller ringtones and 2 message ringtones you can choose from.    

Yes, it definitely is programmable. You can add around 5 contact information on it as your emergency contact. Just go to Settings >SOS Setting > Set SOS Numbers > Add the number one by one then press ok to save. Upon pressing the SOS button, the phone will auto dial the numbers one by one until someone picks up. 

You can add up to 5 numbers on it. Follow below steps to do that. You can also refer to this demontration video: SOS button set-up.

  1. Press Menu
  2. Select SOS Settings
  3. Select Set SOS Numbers then press Select
  4. Select No.1 for example then add the phone number and press OK. 

Yes, you can turn it off by going to SOS Settings, select SOS Turn On/Off and then press ok from the keypad to remove the check on it. Removing the check means turning it off. 

Yes, you can by going to SOS Settings, select SOS Message then press select. Modify the message and press ok.

  1. When you press SOS, it will send SMS to all the 5 personal at same time.
  2. About the phone call part, it will call the first phone number, if no answer from it ,then it will call to second number.   
  3. Upon calling the first number and it hangs up, then it will stop to call the second phone number. 

 

You can set that to either 3 seconds or 5 seconds. 

 

Please follow the below easy steps:

  1. Press Menu then select Multimedia.
  2.  Seelct Camera and press OK. Press capture then save your photos.

Yes, you can send and receive photos via text. The phone has single back camera, just press the arrow down on your keypad to access the camera to take pictures and even videos. 

The torch has 2 switchesbelow: 

  1. The slide button at the left hand side of the phone
  2. The keypad 0.

To turn the torch off, you can either slide the left hand seide button down or press the "0" from your keypad for about 10 seconds until the torch comes off. 

The blue light is an indicator that the memory could be full or there are unread messages or missed calls. Kindly make sure all messages and missed calls are seen. Otherwise, you may need to delete some messages or call logs to clear the phone’s memory.

Please follow the below helpful steps to resolve this. 

1.Check if the phone is charged. When charging using the dock, the indicator on the dock will display red. When fully charged, it will turn green. If the phone is not placed  properly on the dock, the indicator will display green,  please reposition the phone until it is well placed and displaying red. 

If the phone won’t charge using the dock, try charging it directly from the cable charger. 

2. If it is charged up, please press the hang up button (red button on the keypad) long and hard for about 10 seconds till the phone turns on.

Please follow the below easy and helpful troubleshooting steps:

1. We suggest cleaning the battery terminals from dust. 

2. Please make sure that the small battery sticker has been removed. 

3. When charging using the dock, the indicator on the dock will display red. When fully charged, it will turn green. If the phone is not placed  properly on the dock, the indicator will display green,  please reposition the phone until it is well placed and displaying red. 

4. If the phone won’t charge using the dock, try charging it directly from the cable charger it comes with. 

5. If possible, try using another USB type B charger to determine whether it's a faulty phone or charger. 

This can be easily corrected through the text settings, to do just that, please follow the below instructions:  

1. Press Menu then select Message and press OK. 

2. Select Write Message, then press the arrow down to move the cursor to message field. Press the # button, select Abc then press OK. You can now type and send your message. 

Here are the things we can advise you to do and check to resolve this issue: 

  1. Please check that there's great network coverage in your area.
  2. Please check if the mobile number you're sending a message to is correct. You can also try sending a message to someone else and not just one mobile number.  
  3.  If you're using a prepaid sim, please make sure it has enough credit on it. 
  4. Try to restore the phone back to its factory settings. To do that, please follow the below steps:  

a. Press Menu then go to Settings.

b. Select Phone settings.

c. Select Restore factory Settings.

d. Input password as 0000 and press OK.  

Once done, please try to send a message again, if still is not working, please proceed to step 5. 

     5. Lastly, try to insert that same sim card to a working mobile phone. This is to determine whether it's a faulty sim or faulty phone.

If that same sim card works with another phone, that means the phone is faulty. Please reach out to us so we can help further. 

If the sim card still is not working with the other phone, could be a faulty sim card. It's best to contact your network provider so they can provide you a replacement sim card. You can ask them for a blank sim to keep your mobile number. 

Here are a few tips to resolve this.

  1.  Please make sure that the battery is fully charged. The light indicator at the top left of the phone turns red when charging and will turn green once it's fully charged.
  2. Now that the phone is fully charged, please press the red button on the keypad long and hard for 10 seconds to turn the phone on.

This can be set up via Settings. To do that, please follow the below steps: 

  1. Go to Menu, select Settings, then select Display.
  2. Use the arrow keys and select Backlight.
  3. You can choose from any options below. Use the arrow keys to select from the options then press ok to save the changes.

Yes we have our VoIP phone which uses the internet/WiFi rather than a cellular SIM card - VOIP

It requires a VoIP/SIP service along with your WiFi connection as well. You can get one from providers such as this: Residential Voice

Here are the instructions so you can understand what is involved to connect the phone to the VoIP/SIP service.

  1. Arrange a SIP extension number (i.e. IMS number) from an ITSP.
  2. The IP phone (FIP12WP) needs to be connected to the Internet, via Ethernet cable or WiFi.
  3. Log into the phone IP address on the website, fill in the SIP extension number to do the registeration, so that the IP phone can be successfully registered to the ITSP. This done by pressing the OK Key on the phone to check the phone's lP address. Type in the phone's IP address in the address bar of a web browser enabled by a computer or mobile phone and then press the "enter" key to open the web page. Enter the login username and password to log in (the default username and password are 'admin').
  4.  After the IP phone is successfully registered, users can make a call via IMS (such as calling a mobile phone#).
